It’s April, which means it is C-Section Awareness month! I love taking part in C-Section Awareness month every year because it gives me the opportunity to champion behind other C-Section moms and share their stories. Being a C-Section mama comes with a lot of ups and downs. There are some struggles from feeling as if you were cheated out of a natural birth or that you didn’t truly give birth. Many women struggle with the emotions that follow unexpected and unplanned C-Sections, so when they feel supported and are reminded they aren’t alone it makes a huge difference. That is why I celebrate C-Section Awareness month and that is why I like to have other women join me!
I’ll be kicking off C-Section Awareness month by sharing some birth stories from other C-Section Mama’s. Be sure to check out their stories below. You can also catch round one and round two from previous years.
