My Facebook memories reminded me this time two yea

My Facebook memories reminded me this time two years ago was this girl’s last (and scariest) seizure. One all the kids had to witness.

But here she is TWO YEARS seizure free. ❤️

God is SO good. So faithful. I never would have predicted her story to unfold the way it has, but I’m so grateful God has allowed me to have a front row seat to the miracles He has performed time and time again.

Her life, His story.

Keep fighting baby girl, you’re an inspiration to me.

Instead of feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, oversti

Instead of feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, overstimulated, exhausted, as if there wasn’t enough time in the day…

I’ve felt energized, in tune with myself, regulated, patient, and motivated.

What’s the secret?

Simple. I put myself first this time.

And friends, that’s not a bad thing to do.

So many times we put being selfless on a pedestal. Moms are supposed to be the most selfless people around, right?

But what if we looked at it from the view point that if moms put themselves first, they would be the best version of themselves for everyone else?

Selflessness isn’t supposed to come at the cost of sacrificing yourself. The most important person for you to take care of is yourself, because out of caring for yourself you’re able to fulfill what you’re called to do.

You’re able to live in the freedom of being a daughter of the King.

You’re able to connect with your husband.

You’re able to care for your children.

You’re overflowing out into everything you do because you’ve been filled yourself.

It’s okay to make it about you sometimes. ❤️
