Prepare a Good Breakfast
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, make sure your child starts off with a healthy breakfast! Your child’s breakfast should be packed full of protein to keep them full longer and always include some healthy options. Kids can get irritable and have trouble focusing when they feel hungry. Breakfast doesn’t have to be elaborate every morning, just making sure you offer something that is healthy and they’ll be sure to eat is important! Sleep Schedule
Keeping your children on a good sleep routine is one of the most important things you can do for your child. Sleep is so important for their growth and it has the ability to effect everything from their concentration, attitudes, and health. Kids do a lot of sitting at school, so they need to be able to get outside and run around too! When the weather gets too cold outside there are always fun indoor options to get your family up and moving too. Being more active as a family has been increasingly important to me and I have found that it always makes some of the most fun memories!

My kids are READY for snack in the afternoon whether it is a younger sibling waking from nap, or the older kid coming home from school, snack time is a big deal.
