Hey Mama, you’re doing a great job.
I know some days it doesn’t feel like it.
Some days feel long and as if nothing you are doing matters.
If only you could see the bigger picture, mama.
You’ve got a pretty big job.
Changing diapers, taming tantrums, answering endless “why” questions, kissing boo-boos, mending broken hearts…doing the constant mom thing.
I know it’s easy to get lost in it all.
It’s easy to feel like you aren’t making a difference.
It’s easy to feel like your job is mundane…
But it’s so much more.
Every little thing you do is a small piece to the bigger puzzle
In every dance party, you’re showing them that life can be fun.
In every kiss, you’re showing them love.
In every hug, you’re telling them what is safe.
In every story, you’re introducing them to adventure.
In every moment of correction, you are shaping their little hearts.
In every seemingly unimportant small moment, there is a much bigger picture.
Mama, you are changing the world.
You may not see it today. You may not see it in five years.
But one day, you’ll wake up and you’ll see it.
You’ll see that every seemingly unimportant moment amounted to the person before you.
It’s then sweet mama that you’ll realize…you are so much more than just a mom.
You are a difference maker.
You are a world changer.
You are more.
