The night he ended up sleeping through the night was a huge surprise! We moved the night before and so one thing changed in his schedule, we were still on the road during the time that I would have tried to keep him up and had given him a bath. He ended up napping from 8pm – 9pm and when we arrived at our destination we got things inside, then I gave him a bath at 9:30 and fed him at 10pm. He ate so much better at this feeding because I did not have to wake him from being knocked out after that bath. Then my alarm goes off at 7am and I realized he didn’t wake up once! I figured it was from the move, but we did the bath at the same time every night after that and he continued to sleep through the night! I am telling you, baths are magical.
Awake time totaled an hour and a half before being laid down for each nap. You want to be really careful on this wake time. You don’t want them up too long or being laid down too early or it could completely throw their naps off. So just try to stay within the recommended wake time for their age.
