There are some moments where grace is unexpected, yet it’s still given freely.

Sometimes we make a decision and we look back at that wondering why we ever made that choice in the first place.  What could we have been thinking? Looking back, it doesn’t make sense why we would have thought that would be a decision that would benefit us, but we can’t turn back time.

I know there are a few things in my life I can look back at and say, what in the world was I thinking? How could I have thought that was a something that was going to benefit my life? I’ve made dumb decisions. I have lived in complete rebellion. I have made decisions that I knew weren’t the best thing for me, but I didn’t care. I wanted what I wanted.

And then I look where I am at today and am amazed, the only thing that got me here is God’s grace.

I didn’t expect it, yet He freely gave it. That’s just how much He loves us.
