If this time of year is as busy for you as it is for me, you may find yourself at the week of Easter still in need of an Easter basket for your kids. I have been there more times than I care to admit. Thankfully, I can always count on my good friend Target for simple non candy Easter baskets when I am throwing them together last minute. I can’t express my love for the Bull’s Eye Playground. I also strive to stray away from candy in the Easter baskets because I know they get a lot from their grandparents and the Easter Egg hunts they take part in, so this basket is candy free friends. So if you’re anything like me and need to throw a simple Easter basket together here are some tips to make it rock.
Think Practical
What can you put in the Easter basket that has value? With the two older kids I focused on some fun items we could use outdoors as spring is coming. I also thought ahead to items Jase could use in school and on the go.
Think Fun
You don’t want practical to override fun, so throw in some fun items that your kids are to love!
Don’t Forget the Stuffed Animal
No cute kid’s basket is complete without a stuffed animal. It makes a great filler for your basket and what little kid doesn’t love something they could snuggle?
Buy a Basket You Can Reuse
I hate having all these buckets and baskets hanging around that I won’t even use, so this year I made sure to purchase baskets that we could use in the playroom!
You don’t have to buy big expensive items to make your basket a success, simple Easter baskets go a long way!
I can’t wait to give the kids theirs!
