There are so many things I never want to forget about you. I know one day, as you grow into the little man you are destined to become, I won’t remember all these little things. So today I never want to forget:
How much you love to listen to worship.
The funny grunts and growls you like to make.
The way you fake laugh when you get excited about something.
The way your grab my face when you want to cuddle.
The way you bury your head into my chest when you want me to hold you close.
The way you hug me and lay your head on my shoulder when I get you from you nap.
The slobberiest kisses you give that make my heart melt.
The little rose bud face you used to make as a newborn.
The cutest sad face on the planet.
The way you like to copy my kissy faces.
The way you smile through your pacifier.
The way you make a cheesy smile face when you are trying to copy our smiles.
The way you pose for the camera because you are used to me taking so many pictures.
The way being around people makes you happy.
The way you cover your eyes when you fall asleep in my arms and it’s too bright.
That you are obsessed with clapping and clap every time you wake up or hear someone else clapping.
The way you lift your hands up randomly and it looks like you’re praising Jesus.
The way your joy radiates through you to everyone around you.
The way you roll your tongue like your singing a song.
The way you put your face to the mirror so you can see what is in the other side.
